Rainy days in Madrid. Merry Xmas

Rainy days in Madrid. After 8 or 9 sunny months the winter arrives. People damn everyone and everything. The terraces dissapear, the tapas & beer plan seems less interesting (restaurants are full of wet and irritated people) and the grey colours invade the sky, our humour, our lives.

So it's time for changing plans. Staying at home e.g. This sounds like a punishment for many Spaniards, as well for me. We love the sun and the streets. During December I've had to face this, and I said to myself: "let's try, it won't hurt".

I've had an asiatic dinner with Spaniard and Italian friends; I've played Trivial, Cluedo, Mus and Poker; I've worked hard in my own project; I've watched movies; I've chat during hours with a good Spanish wine in the hand and I've been skiing. Lots of fun.

Man I love winter! Every season has its pros. Be positive and enjoy. You'll only live once the Winter 10/11!

I'm going skiing for the holidays. Hope to have good snow, to have fun with my friends, to have more chats with a wine in front of the chimney and to meet a good woman, who knows!!

Merry Xmas and Happy New Year.
